Road initially sandy rubbish, both Don and I walked short stretches. After 10km or so Road much improved and rest of ride went smoothly including 2 1/2 h stop at Bililuna shop.Locals Angus and wife Margaret-Anne showed us the way there (suspect they were going to meet Main Roads hydrologist to talk about flood levels that might affect bitumen Tanami Road when finally sealed). Anne runs the shop, knows ‘pizza man’ who Liz and Richard took pictures of starting the Indo Pacific’s ride (42 days Perth to Sydney), pizza Man is going to try remote communities shop management as retirement job. Anne sent pizza man a photo of us. Camping on Carranyah-Lamboo road, literally. Nowhere else to go.
