DAY 21 8 JULY TO GREGORY RIVER ON BITUMEN

A straightforward day running downwind on a very good bitumen road to the small (pub, a shop in a shipping container,  and an unused school and council works depot).

After a pub lunch and getting more pasta and milk we went “down to the river “. Straight past the “please don’t camp in the riverbed “ to join the throng of caravans camped in the river bed.

Tent up, into to swift flowing clear shallow stream to be carried 100m down to the bridge. And repeat.  Veeeery nice.

Back up to the pub for an acceptable bbq dinner (sausages,  steak,chicken and salads) and to bed.
