DAY 35 22 JULY RETURN TO BORROLOOLA

After a very restful and calorie -stuffing day at King Ash Bay it was back on the deadly treadlies and back up the corrugations to Borroloola. Relaxed lunch of fresh vegetables and fruit from the store and a chat to Tim the round-the-world motorcyclist, a few sausages and salads for dinner and bed.

Tomorrow Brian, Christine, Chris O’B and I head off up the dirt for a 6 or 7 day jaunt to the next supplies at Roper Bar. Bruce wants a quicker return to meet his wife and friends in Darwin so he is going on the bitumen to Cape Crawford and Daly Waters to the Stuart Highway and then fanging it, still on the bicycle, to Darwin.

The Roper Bar crew has stocked up on six days of food but is low on Borneville cocoa,can we survive?
