DAY 15 2 JULY KARUMBA REST

The others went off to the barramundi fish farm at 9:30am while i recovered a bit. I joined them for lunch at a cafe.

Later Bruce organised an evening cruise for he and i and 50 others. A bit of excitement at the start when a grey nomad in his shiny new boat forgot forward and reverse and smashed into the side of the cruise barge. Minor damage

A couple of hours tootling around the Karumba creek, discussing Burke and Wills and the manufacturing of cold rolled bolts (unrelated)  with another tourist couple, quaffing wine and having multiple serves of small Tiger Prawns was very pleasnnt.

My appetite is finally coming back!!!!!!

Got back to Karumba Point just as Ashe’s fish and chips was closing. Got the last order of barramundi and chips.  Bed by 10pm
