Day 14. 25 April 2016 Kalgoorlie to Menzies. 130 km

Finally on the bike again.

A bit of a tailwind to get me over the rolling hills to Broad Arrow pub, all that is left of this mining town. A photo and onwards.

Nothing much to note about the day. A continuous seven hour blurt, just me and my 30 kgs of bike and gear over ever lower rises into the northern sun.

Got into Menzies just on dark. Lovely surprise to see the neat and well

maintained caravan park. A couple of VB’s in the pub listening to the 80 year old bush tour guide regailing the pub with his yarns and into camp for dinner.

Very nicely kept Menzies caravan park. What more could you want? The pub is directly opposite.

Very friendly fellow campers Graeme and his wife shared their dinner with me. Thanks folks, that was nice.

A relaxed start for the 103 km to Leonora tomorrow.
